Murata production is so 40 % of the proportion of the global MLCC market.

On September 25, the president of Murata Nakajima said at the completion ceremony of the new Thai factory: "We can look forward to the long -term growth of the capacitor business." He estimated that the factory will create 2,000 employment opportunities.This will be the first time that Murata Production has produced MLCC for the first time. Investment in Thailand shows that Murata is still optimistic about the prospect of MLCC."The smartphone market will not recover quickly, but we will continue to invest capital expenditure," said Nakajima Monday.The research company's IDC predicts that global smartphone sales will return to growth in 2027 to 1.35 billion yuan, close to the scale of 2021.

Due to the decline in global smartphone demand, the production capacity utilization rate of multi -layer ceramic capacitors in Murata has dropped to about 80 %.However, the company expects that electric vehicles and next -generation 6G communication technology will drive the demand for capacitors to continue to grow.

Murata is expected to spend 220 billion yen this year, an increase of 6 % over the previous year, an increase of 44 % from the previous year as of March 2022.The company also hopes that global electric vehicles will promote the demand for electronic parts.Murata accounts for about 50 % of the world's market in the field of high -resistant MLCC in automobile applications, while high -end electric vehicles may be built up to 10,000 MLCCs.
